Blogging as a cultural pastime has been slowly growing in popularity in Australia in recent years but it still felt there was something missing, a vital part that would connect people like us to others on a more personal level than twitter or facebook ever could… parties!
No, not twitter parties or skype conference calls but real parties, the kind where you get dressed up and leave the laptop at home. Coming face to face with your beloved writer/photographer/fashionista/baker/knitter/etc. It’s these cherished moments of blushing and chattering away nervously about a common insterest, a shared bond. Blogging brings people together but only to their computer or touch screens, we felt the need to take it further, push people to their socialisising limits.
So.. Hello Blogger Events was created.
