About Me

My name is Danielle. I’m just a simple small town girl who fell in love with a boy and followed him to the city. A few years later we were married and I stupidly told him two things, One) I would love him despite the fact that I will always come second to his play station and Two) that I would follow him anywhere as long as we lived a happy, exciting life full of adventures along the way. Boy what a mistake that was..kidding.

Since that day we have moved more times then I can count on both my hands, we have jumped from one side of the country to the other and I have packed and unpacked thousands of boxes along the way each time muttering under my breathe this is the last time I will ever do this, never, ever, again. 

I’m 28..I have three kids, with another on the way and to this day I still mutter under my breathe his is the last time I will ever do this, never, ever, again. I’m talking about the whole pregnancy thing, I’m not sure about the move, just yet.

A few years ago we swapped our glamourous life in the city and relocated to the middle of nowhere. My days are now filled with p&c meetings, tuck shop duty, picking up the kids toys in the backyard and lots and lots of wine {when I’m not harvesting more children}.

We travel a lot. I’m not sure the kids love it as much as us but I hope one day they will look back and say Thank You, thank you for creating all of those memories and all of those adventures and showing us the world.

Life isn’t perfect. We all have our problems, some of them we don’t see coming and some of them we do. I never thought I would be a mother. It just sort of happened. Now I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

This blog is a story of our journey. The good. The bad. And everything in between.
