As of this moment we are no longer home owners because today our forever home back in Brisbane has been officially passed onto a new family to make their own.
When we walked through the doors just a few short years ago we thought it was the home we would spend the rest of our lives in. Boy oh boy how wrong were we.
Sometimes life changes and things get thrown in front of your path to alter your life time goals..jobs, illness, travel and you start to see the place you clung to so tightly differently and feel the shift of change no matter how much you don’t want to let go.
I’m excited about not have a mortgage to pay off each week, thrilled actually. I’m excited not to be tied down and to see what happens next but most of all I’m excited about the unknown because not knowing what’s coming always makes the story so much more exciting.
So I propose a toast to our forever home and its new family and a new beginning for all of us!

Here’s to your forever home and it’s new family! Change in direction can be so sudden or unsettling, but sometimes it can be just right. Not knowing what’s next really does make the story exciting. x
