Be on time:
Make sure you are there to register early to avoid missing the show. It’s also a great way to find a few of your favourites who might be hanging around waiting too.
Come prepared
Make sure you have everything in order before you arrive so once your seated you can pull out your laptop, iPad, iPhone and get to work. Don’t forget to have a look around the room and find where the closest power point is too and most importantly..don’t forget your charger.

Dress comfortably
Dress in something your comfortable in but be unique. There is no point trying to squeeze into those size 8 jeans if your really a size 10. It’s also recommended that you do your hair but I totally missed that step last year.

Eat something tasty for lunch
By lunch time your going to need a walk and something to fill your belly. So make it good.

and most importantly..
Behave
Remember this is a blogging conference so don’t do anything your not prepared to share on social media or wit. This includes dancing on tables, rude pictures and letting your friends {or your boss} text your husband later in the evening after a few too many drinks.

All the seriousness aside. Don’t forget to have a little fun.

I’ve instructed my chauffeur that I will need to be there early. He pooh poohed the idea, but he is used to attending lots of boring work conferences and sees little point in chitchat!
Thanks for the tips x

Great tips – sorry if this is a double comment, I thought I left a comment this morning, but now I can’t see it? Maybe I left it on facebook. Anyhoo…
I have a new question: I wasn’t planning on taking my lap top, it’s too cumbersome to lug around, and I’m worried that I won’t have access to power/wifi anyway. What do you think? Can I get away with just using paper and pen, or do sessions need you to be online? Thanks for your help
I might ask Twitter tonight too.

You can totally just get away with paper and pen.

Great post Dani, good bases covered!
Kylie bring your laptop along if you want, there’s full wifi and we’ll have charging stations with powerboards set up the back if you need to charge up!
Of course the old paper and pen is always handy and never fails!
Looking forward to having you along on Sat.
Cheers,
Tim – NN

Great tips. Another that I try to consider is not having too much unnecessary junk in my handbag or I can never find my business cards! Look forward to seeing you there.
