Is 9am too early for wine?

Some might say. I’m having a bad day today. I’m not sure what it is today but I just can’t shake it.

I woke up this morning and had to clean up a piggy sty of a house after arriving home from town at 10:30 last night.

And then I checked the kids hair at 7:10 and they had nits, again. What’s even worse is one of my children knew they had been itchy for a day or two and didn’t tell me. That right there..should be punishable by death. Luckily I’m not that mean.

We had to leave for school in an hour and we didn’t have time to de-nit but I didn’t have a choice we had to do it so I threw some killer on their heads and let the little suckers fry for 10 minutes and started the clean up.

All dressed for school, breakfast done and helmets on I kicked them out the door at 8:10..Violet was still sleeping and I was still walking around in my underwear so they were on their own today.

I paused for a moment and thought to myself.. Is it too early for a glass of wine or a bottle? It wasn’t even 9am and I was already exhausted.

I cleaned up the mess and made myself look presentable because I actually had plans to leave the house today and that is ALWAYS exciting. I did my hair, put my new shirt on {Emerson, bigw} and we were ready to go.

We strapped our helmets to our heads and it just wasn’t working for my outfit.

It was a beautiful day for ride. The sun was shining and the breeze was lovely and cool and you know what.. Not a person in sight. my day instantly improved BUT I think I still need that glass of wine.

There are some days you walk around Nebo and you wonder if you’ve missed the holocaust or something! No sound, no cars, no people :) I’ve found it really hard adjusting to having more cars go past my house and random people walking by since we moved here. When we were on Mary St it was only Jade and 2 other houses down our dead end street so I was always suspicious of unknown cars going by. I spent the first few weeks in Blackwater peering out the window whenever I heard a car because I thought I had a visitor. But back to your question I think 9am is a little early for wine but not for champagne ;)

Yes, too early for wine. Trust someone who has been there, done that. Haha. But seriously, nits again! Sucks. But loving the new tee {of course, am a total stripes whore} and you wear the helmet well.

I hope your day has improved as the day has got on.
Love the pics.
9am just a tad early, but I agree with Alicia if you can pass of your breakfast as a champagne breakfast that’s another thing.
