Yesterday I woke up early {7am} to take Charlie outside. I sat down on the steps and then on heard a set of foot steps coming behind me and then another..and then another. I turned around to see all three girls bounce out the front door ready for a new day.
I screamed internally no, this can’t be..I want to go back to bed.
Luigi had just left for work and I knew it wasn’t going to happen so I sent them all back inside to get dressed so we could go for a walk.
The kids rode along the path with Charlie hot on their hills. We rode past the school, stopped at the lookout to check how high the water was and the continued along the historic trail.
We arrived home an hour later we arrived home and Luigi was there making breakfast. We spent the rest of the day hanging out at home, cooking good food and just chilling out together.
Violet napped, Josceline learned to ride her bike without training wheels and the bog kids played in the pool while I watched out the window while I worked from my office.
It was most certainly GOOD. In fact it was almost perfect.

Clever you taking the troops for a walk and what a wonderful gift that must have been to return to Luigi cooking brekky, sounds like a wonderful day despite the ‘no go’ sleep in.
