Holiday Mode

We are on holidays in Alice Springs at the moment and I didn’t think I would be blogging while we were away but it turns out that the wordpress app on my iPhone is remarkably easy to use and I was able to share a few photos along the way. So in between relaxing and eating lots and lots of food I managed to share a few of my favourite photos from our road trip and then christmas came along and I was totally spoilt when my husband brought me a macbook air and a new camera. So I’ve spent the last few days slowing dipping back into the blogging world, reading, writing, take pictures and remembering how important it is to take a break and stay true to what I write on this space and why I started blogging in the first place.

The other day Luigi’s aunt called and told us to pack the kids a bag as they were having a sleep over at her house. It felt strange not to have them around. We spent the afternoon lazing around the house and watching movies and then later that night we went out to dinner and then to the movies. We slept uninterrupted until 9:30 and pulled ourselves out of bed with no commitments for the day.

Later on that day we met the kids at the pool. They were having a ball all of the kids and going crazy on the water slides so we decided to join in.

After our swim we left the kids with Luigi’s aunt and went back to our alone time until we meet up with again later that night for dinner. There certainly is a few perks to this whole holidays with the family gig. We may have to do it more often.
