Top+Jeans+Flats

When I came back from my break and started reading blogs all I kept seeing was a new challenge floating around the web. So I did some digging and worked out it all started with this post over at Miss Lady Finger.
Then Iris from Fleur Delice put the challenge into action by putting the question out there..”If I asked you to slip on a pair of jeans, a simple top, a pair of flat shoes, and any accessories you liked, what would you come up with? No doubt you’d come out looking vastly different to the next person, but how?”

I was introduced to Polyvore about two years ago and I really do my best to stay away as it’s highly addictive and can lead to some serious time wasting. But this challenge looked so fun I couldn’t seriously let it pass without joining in.

I’m totally naugthy. I couldn’t narrow it down to one outfit, so I’ve choosen a few key peices, very similar to what’s in my wardrobe.

I’m a mum and a busy one at that. My husband works away and I have two very active kids to look after as well as a full social calender under my belt so the key component of my wardrobe has always been practical/fuctionable outfits with a little bit of personality added into the mix. The picture below is my uniform. Anybody who know me, knows I LOVE my jeans and right now cotton on is my best friend because they sell my favourite shirt for $7.50 and I practically own it in every colour, what would I do with out them.
Somedays when I’m feeling blue I like to digg deep into my wardrobe and pull out something I haven’t worn for a while, something with a little bit of style, that’s a little bit fun with a little bit of colour to brighten up my day. I recently re-discovered the cutest little summer dress and now the winter weather has settled in I’m really loving that I can layer it up and wear it over my jeans with a pair of my cute flats, Totally in love.
